Raye Felder Candidate in District 26 Turns in Signatures to Qualify for Ballot as Petition Candidate
FORT MILL, South Carolina – Raye Felder, Republican candidate for the new District 26 House seat in the South Carolina House of Representatives, announced this week that she had collected enough petition signatures to qualify for the November ballot as a petition candidate.
Felder will personally submit over 1,650 signatures of registered, active voters in Columbia on the morning of Thursday, June 28th as required by South Carolina statute, well ahead of the July 15th deadline.
“I couldn’t do any of this without the many talented and hardworking volunteers who made it possible,” said Felder. “I count it as a privilege to have met so many constituents of District 26 this early in the election process and I look forward to building on these relationships. The reception and support I have received throughout the district has just been tremendous.”
A press conference will be held at 3:00 pm at Savannah’s Tea Room, 124 Confederate Street in Fort Mill. The public is invited.
